READING

Reading is the foundation of all learning at Corinthian.  We are dedicated to engaging the children with new and exciting reading opportunities as well as embedding a love of learning throughout the school.  Children are encouraged to read every day through lessons and reading for enjoyment, this is supported by you at home.  We want the children of Corinthian to develop a love and passion for reading which will take them on countless exciting journeys as they grow into more mature readers.  At Corinthian, every child is able to access book clubs, take part in focused celebration days based on a range of different literature and most of all have fun reading.

Come back soon to see us reading and having fun!

*READY! STEADY! READ!*

During October half term we are taking part in Ready, Steady, Read! Please encourage your child read and collect their sponsorship money. All money raised will be used to fund our NEW SCHOOL LIBRARY! We would like to create a space that everybody can use to explore and find a range of books that interest them and feed their imagination. The children are having a big input in choosing the books that they would like to have. We would like to show you our new library during our stay and read sessions in 2019 - keep your eyes peeled for developments! If you have any pre-loved childrens books in a good condition that you would like to donate our library, please bring them into school and give them to Miss Raftery and Mrs Williams.

Thank you for your support.
