As usual we have had a very busy week in year 2!
As part of our history we have been learning about what it was like to be a child in the 1950's. We played lots of games from this era such as hopscotch, leap frog, hoola-hoop, and two balls. We then played on I pads as most of the children said this was a modern game. We discussed which we preferred.
The children really enjoyed starting their final piece of artwork in the style of Frida Khalo. Hopefully we will be able to finish them next week and display our masterpieces!
The children are really excited about the re-launch of TT Rockstars and have promised to play the game at home, as part of their homework, as often as they can. Please help and encourage this so that we can all become times table experts!
